An Austrian Local Action Group (Mittelburgenland plus) are looking for a co-operation partner for a project entitled “Preservation of sweet chestnuts”:

There is a highly concentrated appearance of sweet chestnuts in the region of Mittelburgenland. At present the chestnuts are merchandised at an annual chestnut festival where they are sold as biscuits and cakes, chestnut pudding and roasted chestnuts. The project objective is to use the potential of the sweet chestnut for merchandising refined products all year long.
