Axis 3: Rural life and economy

The third Axis of the RDP is directed at improving the quality of life in rural areas and promoting diversification of the the rural economy through:

• Diversification into non-agricultural activities
• Support for the creation and development of micro-enterprises
• Encouragement of tourism activities
• Basic services for the rural economy and population
• Village renewal and development
• Conservation and upgrading of the rural heritage
• Training and information for economic actors operating in the fields covered by Axis 3

All measures contained in Axis 3 are delivered through the LEADER approach.

Bleach Lough to Officially Reopen
