Have just listened to several of the sessions - very striking how big farming remains in ROI but worry about the inherent lack of profitability in farming (as in the UK also)etc.I like the notion of Ireland - the food island - but wonder whether it is possible quickly enough to scale up that branding to secure the viability of Ireland’s farming sector. But good luck with that venture - maybe as one person said it might be time for another Plunkett to emerge!
I particularly liked Ciaran’s closing remarks on collaboration and his injunction to come with a perspective not a position.
