Kilmeedy Horticulture Training Initiative will hold an open morning on Thursday February 9th from 10.30am-12 noon in Kilmeedy.  The aim is to set up a recruitment database to facilitate employers in the horticulture  industry throughout the Munster area, supplying them with fully qualified  technicians to meet the ongoing needs of  horticulture based  industries.

Kilmeedy Horticulture delivers a F.E.T.E.C (level) 5 horticulture course  on a yearly basis. This is a comprehensive course whereby students gain  the necessary theoretical, scientific and practical knowledge to enable  them to fully participate in a variety of horticulture settings. All  qualified technicians will be available for work from March 12th 2012 onwards.

Participants and tutors of Kilmeedy Horticultre are acutely aware that there are many seasonal demands throughout the year.  The services they can provide include staffing requirements on a part time/fulltime basis, seasonal and occasional requirements for a day, week or holiday/sick leave cover.

For future information please do not hesitate to contact Elaine White (course co-ordinator) at Kilmeedyhort@gmail.com or at 063 87960.
